patient stories

We begin with a fresh look at what’s wrong, talking to you to understand the history and using state-of-the-art imaging and testing to get a clear picture. We work with specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, osteopathy, pilates, physiotherapy, radiology, rheumatology, and sports medicine to achieve the correct diagnosis.

We aim to avoid surgery if possible by using other treatments. If surgery is necessary then we’ll work with you to make sure you’re fully prepared physically and emotionally, giving you the highest quality of care at every stage of your journey back to full health.

I’m back to walking my beloved dogs, cycling to work every day, swimming and playing with my granddaughter; something I never thought I’d be able to contemplate.
— Mrs N of South London — left hip implant revision and right hip replacement. A previous replacement hip had been causing constant pain and preventing this relatively young patient from continuing her active life.
I was always listened to and everything was so clearly explained. Since my operation my hip replacement has exceeded all my expectations. I was out of bed within 24 hours.
— Mr. C of Borehamwood — hip implant revision. Several other surgeons had missed the diagnosis, but using CT Spect we were able to show that the femoral stem was fixed to the bone and fix this easily with surgery.
I’m thrilled to say that I now feel on top of the world and very active and most important, am pain free. Thank you so much.
— Mrs. H of Tunbridge — hip replacement. Several specialists had been unable to locate the source of the patient’s pain. We identified the cause as the hip, and in replacing it removed the pain.
I can think of nothing about my care that could be improved – you cannot improve perfection.
— Mrs. B, London — hip implant revision surgery. The patient had developed a muscle control problem that caused her replacement hip to dislocate three times. We used the latest dual-mobility bearing technology to make the hip as stable as possible, enabling the patient to cope with reduced muscle control.
